Lady Gaga knows how to make heads turn. Nominee for Best Actress arrived on the famed Red Carpet wearing the incredible Tiffany Yellow Diamond, the iconic jewel owned by luxury retailer Tiffany.  Lady Gaga wore the 128.54-carat fancy yellow diamond as a pendant and diamond-necklace with matching yellow and white diamond earrings.

Incredibly, it is only the third time ever that Tiffany Diamonds has been worn since its creation. The last public outing was in 1961 worn by Audrey Hepburn for publicity photographs for Breakfast at Tiffany’s. The jewel is usually on display at Tiffany’s Fifth Avenue flagship showroom.

It was the one statement in an otherwise unusually subdued red carpet for jewelry. Still, brands like Cartier, Chopard, Bulgari, Harry Winston and Forevermark managed to bring a lot of sparkle to the party with diamonds, gold and platinum.
